C-130 Propeller Trailer M870A2 Medium Heavy Equipment Transporter
-
Used to secure and transport C-130 (E/B Aircraft) propellers, and positions the propeller for maintenance

Four 500 lb. castors swivel 360° and are capable of being locked in 15o increments

Eight tie-down rings are available to secure the propeller for transit and air transport.

The storage box holds components that are not in use

The tow bar is detachable and can be used on either end of the trailer.

LEUT is towed by the 5, 10 and 20-ton dump trucks, 5-ton cargo trucks and HEMTT cargo trucks, and the M917A3 Heavy Dump Truck

LEUT passed testing at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Ground Vehicle System Center, & National Automotive Test Ctr.

LEUT meets applicable requirements of MIL-STD-209, MIL-STD-810 & MIL-STD-1366.
Frame and chassis are zinc metalized IAW NACE NO.12/AWS C2.23M/SSPC CS-23, and CARC powder coated IAW MIL-DTL-53072 for unsurpassed corrosion resistance in extreme operational environments.
